We want to make sure that the toys he’s getting have an entertainment component and a learning component. We’ve been eyeing this desk for a very long time, and we are just so excited we were able to get this for him for Christmas. Like with all of my product reviews, I will be going over all of the standard specs, so you know what you are getting yourself into and if this is something that you should get for your toddler. Remember that my son is two years old, so if you have a toddler around two about to be to a little over 2, you’re at the right place. Let’s start with the specs-the VTech activity desk has regular and pink colors. The regular color includes yellows and blues, while the pink comes in purple and pink tones. Since we have a boy, we went with the regular color, but you can go with the pink color if you want something feminine. Here is a little blurb about the product: It has five (5) activity pages to explore filled with engaging content to extend a fun four hours. I will show you what the additional plates look like and what they say in the video. The desk is intended for children two and up, making a lot more sense after getting the product because it is designed for children at least two. It has LED lights that illustrate letters and numbers, 21 different songs, features of 100 + vocabulary words features, and 20 interactive activities. It doesn’t come with batteries, so you will have to get them and install them before using them. Overall, the desk provides more ways to play with pretend. You can pretend to make a call by putting a toy phone on it. All you have to do is use a damp cloth to wipe it down, and you are good to go.īUY NOW Pros of Using the Desk Easy to Clean It provides a progress report on your child if you put it in the mode and it’s easy to clean. I do think that toys are getting better at preservation. I love the desk because it automatically cuts off after two or three cycles. For example, let’s say my son cuts the desk on, and it just keeps playing over and over again. There will be times that my son will cut the deck and all of his toys on, and then he will leave and do something else in the background. ![]() By cutting off on its own, I don’t have to worry about messing with the battery. He puts a lot of items on the table, and if something was to fall apart like the changes or desk, it’s effortless to put back together with no fuss. You can turn it up loud or down pretty low. ![]() The clarity is perfect at any volume level, and I love what activity or mode. Everything is easy to hear and understand. The table is straightforward to move around. It’s not heavy at all, and I will say that putting the different place in is a challenge, so likeĬons of Having the Activity Table Plates Don’t Insert Easily You can move it from one place to another. The included plates are not the easiest to slide on the desk. If you don’t line up correctly, it will not read almost like Russian Roulette. For me, I’m never able to get the plates to work on the first or second try. What ends up happening is that my son, Noah, becomes disinterested in the table, and then my toddler walks away and uses the tabletop that’s as standard. I wouldn’t say I like that it doesn’t come with batteries and that you have to find batteries. I like it when companies provide everything you need. For example, if you get a gift as we did on Christmas day. ![]()
